About Rebecca

Hello! I’m Rebecca Nowikow — although in the art community, many know me as Rebecca Palmer, my maiden name, which I’ve painted under since before meeting my husband. I’m a mural artist based on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, passionate about transforming public spaces into vibrant storytelling walls that reflect the spirit of local communities. Through my murals and creative workshops, I aim to celebrate connection, identity, and place.

My Artistic Journey

With a background in youth work and counselling, my creative practice has naturally evolved to centre around connection, storytelling, and community engagement. What began as a personal outlet — exhibiting artworks across Southern Adelaide since 2016 — has grown into a collaborative mural practice that celebrates the people and places I work with.

Since moving to the Eyre Peninsula in 2022 and completing my first large-scale mural, I’ve discovered a deep passion for creating community-centred artworks that bring shared stories to life through colour and form. My style ranges from minimalist compositions to abstract realism, with each mural and workshop designed to reflect the unique spirit, story, and environment of those involved.

What I Offer

  • Custom Murals: Tailored designs for schools, public spaces, and community projects.

  • Paint & Sip Workshops: Inclusive art experiences perfect for fundraisers, team-building, or social gatherings.

  • Commissions- Unique artworks in acrylic to reflect your vision and space

  • Community Engagement: Projects that involve local participation, fostering a sense of ownership and pride.

Let’s Connect

I’m always excited to discuss new projects and ideas. Whether you’re looking to brighten a space with a mural or host a creative workshop, feel free to reach out!
